Dental Aligners: What Is the Process?

There are several stages in the Invisalign process. First, you will need to have a consultation performed to see if you are a good candidate to receive the treatment.

Once you have been deemed a good candidate, you and our dentists will work closely together. The next step involves taking a picture or mold of your teeth and placing it into the Invisalign software. The software will show you what your teeth will look like at the end of treatment. If you are happy with the results, we will send the information to the Invisalign office where the trays that you will use are created.

When the trays come in, you will be fitted with the first tray and provided with information on how to take care of the tray, how often to wear it, and similar topics. As you proceed through treatment, you will come in often to have your aligner switched out for a new one as needed.
