I Was Previously Told to Take Antibiotics Before the Dental Visit. Is this true?

In some cases patients are required to take antibiotic medications before certain dental procedures are performed to lessen a risk of infection after the procedure. If you have already had prescription to antibiotic medication, please bring that to your appointment. Your dentist will advise if you need to take the medication after the procedure.

Office Hours & What to Expect

We are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The office is closed on weekends so the team can recharge, but for true dental emergencies on Saturday or Sunday, call our main line and leave a message — Dr. Natalia checks her phone several times daily and can often arrange a same-day Monday-morning slot or recommend the right urgent-care path.

How to Get Here

Our Sheepshead Bay office sits on Ocean Avenue between Avenue U and Avenue V, just two short blocks from the heart of the Sheepshead Bay shopping and dining corridor.

By subway: The closest stations are Sheepshead Bay (B and Q trains) and Avenue U (F train). From the Sheepshead Bay station, walk three blocks west on Sheepshead Bay Road, then turn left onto Ocean Avenue — our office is on your right. From the Avenue U F station, walk five blocks east on Avenue U and turn right onto Ocean Avenue.

By bus: The B49 and B36 buses both stop within a block of our office. The B49 runs along Ocean Avenue and stops right outside the building.

By car: Free street parking is usually available on Ocean Avenue, Avenue U, and the side streets. If you’re coming from Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach, or Coney Island, take Ocean Parkway south and turn left onto Avenue U. From Marine Park or Midwood, take Avenue U east to Ocean Avenue. For our patients driving down from Manhattan, the Belt Parkway exit at Ocean Avenue puts you about three minutes from our front door.

On the day of your appointment, our team will greet you by name, walk you back to one of our quiet treatment rooms, and Dr. Natalia will take time to listen before any clinical work begins. Comprehensive exams typically run 45-60 minutes; cleaning appointments add another 30 minutes.
